OUR TERRITORY
Myers & Associates opened for business in 1988, in Oklahoma and subsequently expanded into Arkansas in 1993, and serves the electrical industry in each respective market. We continue to succeed in both Oklahoma and Arkansas, because of the support we have earned from the manufacturers and customers we serve.

The “Natural State” and the “Land of Opportunity” describe the State of Arkansas. Arkansas ranks 27th among states in total area and 33rd in the United States with a population of roughly 2.7 million. Little Rock, the State’s capital city, is located in the center of Arkansas.

We pay particular attention to our investment of time and talent, and we are directing time and talent toward the State's second largest emerging market found in the Northwest section of the State. Predominately an agricultural state in the past, Arkansas is now the home office state for such major companies as Jacuzzi, Tyson Foods, Riceland Foods, Wal-Mart, Maybelline, Dillard's Department Store, and J.B. Hunt Transport Company.

Welcome to the “Sooner State” where “Work Overcomes All Obstacles”. “Native America” also refers to Oklahoma, because Oklahoma has the largest American Indian population of any state. Oklahoma ranks 20th among states in total area and 28th in the United States with 3.5 million residents. Oklahoma City, the state's capital, and primary market are found in the center of the state.

The second largest market, Tulsa, is only ninety miles northeast of Oklahoma City. With a strategically placed sales office in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area, Myers & Associates is connected to roughly seventy (70%) percent of the state’s population, which is found within a hundred (100) mile radius. Historically Oklahoma has pinned its riches on oil and agriculture. Oklahoma is the 3rd largest natural gas-producing state, and the 4th largest oil producing state. In addition, Oklahoma ranks 4th in all wheat, cattle and calf production.
